Named for my friend Christy, an avid gardener who grows these extraordinary hollyhocks. I love that something so beautiful came from the hands of someone I love. I photographed them against the darkness, letting the light catch only parts of the petals and leave the rest almost hidden. There is something old-fashioned and romantic about a hollyhock, but here they feel a little moodier and less precious.
Powell Place is as much about friendship and the beauty people create around themselves as it is about the flowers.
Framing & Prints
Frame profile: white, 1.25" wide x 0.875" deep. Framing adds approximately 2" to the overall dimensions of the print size you purchase.
11x14, 12x12, 12x18, and 16x18 framed prints include a 1" mat. 20x20, 24x36, and 32x32 framed prints include a 1.5" mat. 40x60 framed prints are unmatted.
Every frame includes acrylic glazing for clear, lightweight protection, kraft paper backing for a finished look on the back, and hanging hardware installed and ready to hang out of the box.
Unframed prints include a 1" bleed.
Made in the USA.

Every print is made and framed to order, and ships within 6 business days. Because prints are made to order, we cannot offer refunds or returns on prints, framed or unframed. If you're unsure about a size or frame option, reach out before ordering. We're glad to help.
40x60 prints ship via freight. Contact us for a shipping quote and to arrange the order.
