The magnolias came from trees near my home, gathered at different moments in their brief lives. Some are newly opened and almost impossibly white, while others have already begun to brown and soften. I arranged them in an old silver vessel and photographed them against the darkness, letting the light find each flower differently.
I love magnolias for their beauty, but even more for how quickly that beauty changes. Blanche is about that fleeting moment, and the beauty that remains as something begins to fade.
Framing & Prints
Frame profile: white, 1.25" wide x 0.875" deep. Framing adds approximately 2" to the overall dimensions of the print size you purchase.
11x14, 12x12, 12x18, and 16x18 framed prints include a 1" mat. 20x20, 24x36, and 32x32 framed prints include a 1.5" mat. 40x60 framed prints are unmatted.
Every frame includes acrylic glazing for clear, lightweight protection, kraft paper backing for a finished look on the back, and hanging hardware installed and ready to hang out of the box.
Unframed prints include a 1" bleed.

Every print is made and framed to order, and ships within 6 business days. Because prints are made to order, we cannot offer refunds or returns on prints, framed or unframed. If you're unsure about a size or frame option, reach out before ordering. We're glad to help.
