Mabel
Details
Named for a minor character in On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, this image is about softness, intimacy and the beauty of not seeing everything clearly. Flowers dissolve into washes of pink, peach and cream, hovering somewhere between photography and abstraction. I love the idea that something can become more beautiful as it becomes less defined.
It feels romantic and feminine, like a memory you can feel more clearly than you can actually see.
